How to say I like/I don't like/I love, pastimes and hobbies, creating sentences by expressing things we like or don't like to do, ice cream flavors we like or dislike, Spanish adjectives, and Describe a witch in Spanish activity.

, 8th grade worked on the following in Spanish:
Adjectives, how to use adjectives in sentences, a Turkey project where students were to use the Spanish adjectives they learned to describe their turkey, telling time, and we read a short Spanish Thanksgiving play.
, 8th graders have been busy working on a brief study of Spain. They wrote a letter to a friend (mostly in Spanish) telling them about 4 cities they were visiting, the weather forecast there, and what clothing they were planning to bring. We also did a lesson on Spanish prepositions and worked on a Christmas picture where we were to place objects in different places in the picture. We later shared our pictures in Spanish by saying for example, " The present is under the tree" or " The ornament is on the tree".
Finally we talked about the Mexican Christmas celebration of "Las Posadas" and watched 2 videos.
in Spanish class 8th grade has been working on prepositions. We practiced saying where different people were in the classroom ( Avery is between Joe and Jacob).Students also worked on a criminal report in which they were asked to use as many Spanish prepositions as possible. For example, ( The victim was under the car.)They were very creative with this!More recently we are learning about places in town ( library, school,bank, etc) and expressing where things are using the different Spanish prepositions.
, 8th grade has been reading a simple book in Spanish called "El Mundo de Felipe". We have been working on 2 short chapters each week. It is about 2 boys entering middle school ( Felipe and Lorenzo) and their very different personalities.There will be a test on the book this week.
More recently we have started a unit on "La Ropa" , clothing and the verb "LLevar", to wear.
Students are doing a suitcase packing activity and sharing it with the class in Spanish.
Reminder that we are now in the last trimester and students are expected to complete 4 hours of Rosetta Stone.
