I have been an educator with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for almost 20 years, and I have loved every minute of it! My husband and I have been married for 11 years, and we have a very handsome and charming son named Luca.
I earned my BA at Penn State and then I earned my Masters in Secondary Ed/English at Holy Family University.
Professional Experience: I have been a teacher with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for almost 20 years. Most of that experience has been at the Middle School level.
I came to Holy Family in September 2018, and I taught 4th grade and 7th and 8th grades. I was offered the Principal’s position in June 2019. I am loving my new role here at Holy Family. It’s a wonderful place to be!
Educational Philosophy: Matthew 7:12 states: “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you.” This is a rule that we should follow at all times in our lives. Here at Holy Family School, we treat each other with kindness and respect, modeling for our students what we expect from them. We try to live our lives as Christ would have, leading our students in his footsteps.
I also believe it’s important for our students to utilize and strengthen their critical thinking skills, and this is done daily through interesting and engaging lessons.
