Educational Philosophy: Being a teacher of Middle school students allows me to work with students during one of the most important times in their lives. As a teacher, the one thing that I find to be of greatest importance is the relationships that I have built with my students. I enjoy having conversations with them on subjects and issues that are important to them, and I always try to bring it back and relate it somehow to Math. I want my classroom to be less of a class and more of a community, where we are all sharing ideas and communicating and learning from one another at the same time. I have high expectations that young people have the ability to learn and excel beyond their own expectations.
