Dear HFS Families,
Happy Friday, and what a beautiful day it is! There is a lovely breeze, the sun is shining, and I can hear the students laughing and playing outside. Spring has sprung!
Principal’s Spotlight
This week, I am shining the light on the 5th and 6th grade students and Mrs. Mary Mizii. For the past 20 years, Mrs. Mizii has organized and led her 5th Grade students in beautiful presentations of the Living Stations. Last year, we lost that opportunity because of Covid, but Mrs. Mizii and her students were able to come together this year and give us 2 meaningful and reverent presentations.
Because of Mrs. Mizii, along with assistance from Mrs. Abell, the HFS community got to witness a beautiful reenactment of the Passion of Christ. Both performances were incredibly moving, and I feel incredibly blessed to be among this community daily. Thank you, Mrs. Mizii and 5th and 6th Grades.

Because next week is a short week, there will not be a Principal’s Posting. Please make note of the days which we are closed for the Easter Holidays. I would like to take this time to wish you and your family a very Happy, Holy, and Blessed Easter. I hope that you enjoy the time off together, and I hope that you find time to acknowledge the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and reflect on all that He has given up for us. “But God proves His love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
Peace and Joy,
Mrs. Jennifer D’Amelio
