Dear Holy Family,
It has been another quiet week, but next week will certainly be exciting! Catholic Schools’
Week begins on Sunday, January 31st. If you haven’t seen it yet, please check your emails
for the Option C communication that was sent out detailing the upcoming week. I would
like to thank all of the teachers for the effort that has gone into our celebrations, but I
would especially like to thank Mrs. Miscioscia, Mr. Ireland, and Mrs. Mizii. We are looking
forward to the fun, excitement, and celebration of OUR Catholic school!been another quiet
week, but next week will certainly be exciting! Catholic Schools’
Principal’s Spotlight
This week, I would like to shine the light on our custodian Mr. Tom Skelton. Mr. Skelton is a jack of all trades here at HFS. If there is a problem, we know he will do his best to fix it or find someone who can. There is nothing he will not do for us even if it means arriving early or showing up on his day off! We are all so appreciative of his hard work, and we are thrilled to call him ours!
Holy Family School Video
If you haven’t gotten a chance to see it yet, head over to our Facebook page to see our video! It really showcases how wonderful our school, students, staff, and families are! You don’t need a Facebook account to view the video. Click here for a direct link to our page.
Ruggieri Scholarship
If you are applying for the Ruggieri Scholarship, all paperwork is due Monday, 2/1. Please send it to the office.
Catholic Schools’ Week
Earlier this week, an Option C was sent out to our families with the Catholic Schools’ Week itinerary. I have attached it here for your convenience.
Please don’t forget to send in pictures on Monday and Tuesday of the family/students performing acts of service for one another. “Be hospitable to one another without complaining. As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Peter 4:9-10).
Registration
As I said in my communication last week, registration has been incredibly busy! We have approximately 75% of students from PreSchool through 7th grade registered and guaranteed a spot for the 2021-2022 school year, and we are in the process of welcoming a number of new families for next year AND this year! If you haven’t registered yet, please do so sooner rather than later to make sure you reserve your child(ren) a seat.
Lunch Volunteers
Thank you so much to all of our parents who have taken some time from their busy schedules to volunteer during lunch recess. It is appreciated more than you know! Click here if you are available to sign up for a spot of two in February.
