Typically, I would not send out a posting on a short week, but I wanted to thank you all again for your efforts over the last 3 weeks. I applaud your continued efforts as parents with the added responsibility of overseeing your child(ren)’s education in a much more hands-on way than ever before.
I’m sure many of you already know, but Governor Wolf has determined that all Pennsylvania school buildings will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year. Despite this, we will continue with our Cyber Learning/Flexible Instruction method until the end of the year.
To our 8th Grade Students and Parents, please know that we are in continuing discussions regarding some of the traditions that you all look forward to each year. Once we have a solid plan of action, we will provide you with more details.
If you don’t already, please follow us on Facebook. If you are not on social media, you can still check us out on Facebook to see what we’ve been doing. If you visit our school website, there is an “f” towards the upper right corner. Click on it, and it will take you directly to our page.
Never could we imagine that we would have to live through something like this. Our lives have been disrupted in every way. It’s not easy to find the bright side of things, but we must. We must continue to place our trust and faith in God that He will guide us through this. “Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).
Easter reminds us all of God’s everlasting love for us. Please know that I will be thinking of you and praying for you, and that I am appreciative of you all. I hope you have a Happy and Blessed Easter. Be safe and stay healthy!
