Welcome to Holy Family 1st grade! My name is Matt Cahill and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer and the children are getting excited to begin the school year. My HFS website has been recently updated with information about me and our classroom. I will try my best to keep you all updated about any pertinent info as I get it. I already know a lot of you but I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and working with the kids!

I will need your child's dismissal information by the first day of school. (What days they are car line, what days they go to CARES or ride the bus, and especially what Bus Number they ride!) I understand this may change occasionally and that is fine, you can just send a quick email to myself and the office if you need to change your child's usual pickup routine any given day. If you have this info please write it down and either send it with your child on the first day of school or send it to me by email. It is imperative that I have that information in advance in order to safely dismiss your child on September 3rd!

I am looking forward to getting off to a great start in September. Please tell your kids to bring a positive attitude and their best smile! I'm excited to work with everyone to make this a terrific year of learning for all of the children!

My name is Matt Cahill and this is my tenth year with Holy Family School. I was previously at the Phoenixville YMCA for eighteen years where I worked with all ages from infants to teens. I am a lifelong member of St. Ann’s Parish and attended school here myself, as a member of the last graduating class of St. Ann’s School. My goal with this class is to instill a thirst for knowledge, a love of learning, and ultimately to help them grow into kind, responsible, empathetic individuals.
