GETTING READY FOR FOURTH GRADE
Grade 4 Summer Reading List
Each student is asked to read a
book from the following list. However, feel free to enjoy as many of these books as possible.
During the first week of school, the students will participate in an activity based on their selected reading. Have fun!!

The following are some summertime ideas to help prepare your fourth grader for the new school year.
Our curriculum will cover many aspects of the history, geography, industry, and settlers of Pennsylvania. This summer would be a great time to plan visits to the many historical sites and museums in the Delaware Valley.

Be sure to drill addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. Try these websites:
In fourth grade we learn several guides to help us live according to God's way. We study the Commandments, Beatitudes, and the Works of Mercy. We also celebrate the feasts of the Liturgical Year.
