Dear HFS Families,
What a beautiful week this has been! Fall has officially arrived, and I am enjoying it immensely. I have always been a fan of the seasons, and this year is no different. There is a chill in the mornings, and the afternoons are sunny and bright. It warms my heart to hear the students’ voices and laughter not just throughout the hallways but also on the breeze as it flows into my office windows. My heart is full. “Shout with joy to the Lord, all the Earth; break into song; sing praise” (Psalms 98:4).
Teacher Spotlight
This week, I would like to shine the spotlight on Mr. Steve Pendleton. Mr. Pendleton is new to us this year, and already, he is making an impression on students and staff alike. From the get go, Mr. Pendleton has jumped into our HFS family with both feet. He brings enthusiasm and fun to gym classes while providing our students with physical movement, much needed brain breaks, and an interesting curriculum on movement and nutrition. We are very blessed to have Mr. Pendleton with us!
