Dear Parents,
The success of our school depends largely on you. Your willingness to volunteer your time and talent is greatly appreciated!
As you may know, the Archdiocese, in an effort to ensure the safety of our children, mandates specific clearances and trainings for all staff and volunteers, and we are proud of our 100% Compliance Status as determined by the Office of Child and Youth Protection. These clearances/trainings are required of all volunteers including field trip chaperones, ice cream parents, and/or any volunteer who is here on a weekly basis.
In an effort to expedite the process, links can be found on our website under the heading About HFS. Click Policies and Procedures. The Safe Environment links can be found on the right hand side of the page.
While the pandemic has derailed business as usual, we look forward to the day we return to normalcy and suggest that those who foresee volunteering in any capacity acquire the necessary training and clearances in advance of the school year.
Once your file is complete your name will be added to the Approved Chaperone list. Teachers refer to this list when planning trips etc. If you are unsure of your current status, feel free to call the office at 610-933-7562.
Because of CDC guidelines the diocese is offering the training session on-line periodically through August. We strongly urge you to take advantage of receiving this training in the comfort of your own home. Please click the link below to register for a session!
Again, we thank you for your generosity to our school and your cooperation in accepting diocesan policy.
