Dear HFS Families,
Happy Friday! It’s difficult to believe that Thanksgiving is coming up next week, but I am getting excited about it. While my family and I don’t go anywhere, I love spending time with my husband and son, as well as some of our extended family. It’s a small gathering, but it provides us with much-needed quality time together. Additionally, I love the anticipation that begins building for the celebration of Jesus’ birth. It is a season that is filled with such joy, and I’m looking forward to it even more so this year. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:14).
Principal’s Spotlight
This week, I would like to shine a light on our school nurse, Mrs. Marie Mancini. Mrs. Mancini is one of the hardest workers that I have ever met. She takes care of our students here at HFS, and she consistently volunteers to serve our community in a variety of ways that don’t always get noticed. Recently, Mrs. Mancini organized a lovely Friendsgiving event for the faculty here at Holy Family. It was a lovely afternoon of friendship, eating, drinking, and laughing together, and we are grateful that Mrs. Mancini took the time to continue this wonderful tradition.
Continuous Enrollment
Within the next week or so, I hope to have a section on our HFS website dedicated to the Continuous Enrollment process. In addition to the website, there will be a separate Option C email alerting you as to when it’s ready to be viewed.
Giving Tuesday
GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that occurs on November 30, 2021. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generously.
Holy Family is excited to be part of the GivingTuesday movement and asks for your participation! You can play an important role and have an impact! Consider making a donation to the school, signing up to be a volunteer, or spreading the word about HFS. Thank you!
Family Bingo Night
Save the date for Saturday, December 4th from 6:00-8:30PM because bingo is back! Keep an eye on your emails and on Facebook for a flyer with more information. At this time, masks will be required to attend the event.

Please note that you must be on the Approved Chaperone List to volunteer in any capacity. Click here to sign up.
