Dear HFS Families,
Happy Friday on this beautiful spring day! It’s nice to have such a quiet day today as this week has been busy! We had a beautiful May Procession on Wednesday with our students, staff, and many parents. I can’t think of a better way to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother, than with our community’s voices raised up in honor of her. “For He has looked upon His handmaid’s lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed” (Luke 1:48).
We also had the opportunity to spotlight our 1st and 3rd Grades in their production of Lemonade at the Spring Concert. I enjoyed seeing them singing and acting, and it was very clear to me that they were having so much fun. A big thank you to Ms. Jarvis for showcasing our talented students!
Principal’s Spotlight
This week, I would like to shine a light on our entire student body and our staff. In any school, the month of May seems to be full of distractions and disruptions - field trips, Fun Runs, Spring Concerts, etc. While all of these events are exciting and a BIG part of any school year, they can also create more stress on our teachers and students. For this, I would like to spotlight them this week. The students and teachers have gone through this year with grace, integrity, and determination. They have worked very hard, and I am incredibly proud that I get to work with them!
Boosterthon Sponsor Spotlight
Even though our Boosterthon Fun Run has come and gone, I would be remiss if I didn’t extend a warm thank you to the Kane Family for sponsoring our school through the t-shirts. If you don’t know already, Mr. Dan Kane created the independent insurance agency Kane Insurance Group LLC. Through his company’s generous donation, we were able to supplement the purchase of Boosterthon Fun Run t-shirts for all students and staff.
If you’re looking for a better insurance experience, you’ll love doing business with the Kane Insurance Group! Reach out to them at 610-337-8100 or via email at info@KaneIG.com.
Lunch Monitors
There are only a handful of days left for lunch monitors in the month of May. Come on down and spend some time with your little darlings, and get some vitamin D the good ol’ fashioned way! Click here to sign up.
Continuous Enrollment
We are still seeing a small number of families who have yet to register for the 2022-2023 school year. If you’d like to eliminate the yearly paperwork, sign up for Continuous Enrollment. Click here to get started.
Thank you to everyone who has signed up for Continuous Enrollment. If you still have yet to register for the 2022-2023 school year, it’s not too late.
If you are experiencing any difficulties in completing the form, please let us know. We are happy to walk you through it. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Advancement Director, Mrs. McNerney or the principal, Mrs. D’Amelio.
