Dear HFS Families,
Happy Friday! It’s hard to believe that we are just 5 weeks away from the end of school! This year is flying by!
Principal’s Spotlight
This week, I would like to shine a light on our 7th Grade students. A large majority of the class recently stepped up to run for the Student Council Executive Board. They even went so far as to create social media accounts, and it was so much fun to watch them interview one another and have “press conferences” with the candidates. Their enthusiasm and school spirit is contagious! All of the candidates impressed me with their speeches and the ideas they had to share with HFS, and I am so proud of them all. Without further ado, I’d like to introduce the 2022-2023 Executive Board…
Student Council Executive Board
I would like to extend a warm congratulations to our new Executive Board! I look forward to all the great things you’ll do next year.
President - Joey F.
Vice-President - Jude S.
Secretary - Quinn L.
Treasurer - Aidan P.
Commissioner of School Spirit - Jack S.

Martha Ruggieri Scholarship Recipient
Every year, a scholarship is awarded to an HFS student going into the 6th Grade, and it covers the majority of the student’s tuition in 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades. This scholarship is honor of Mrs. Martha Ruggieri, who used to work here. She loved working with the students and being a part of their academic and spiritual formation. “Let no one have contempt for your youth, but set an example for those who believe, in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). This year’s recipient is Anthony S. Congratulations, Anthony!
Lunch Monitors
We continue to struggle with lunch coverage this month. If you have any availability at all, we would be so grateful if you could share some of that time with us at lunch recess. The teachers would be so appreciative to have a few minutes to eat and recharge for the afternoon session. Click here to sign up.
Continuous Enrollment
Our enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year continues to climb! Thank you to everyone who has signed up for Continuous Enrollment. If you still have yet to register for the 2022-2023 school year, it’s not too late. Click here to get started.
