Principal's Post August13,2021

Dear HFS Families,

How is it that we are in the middle of August already?! The summer is really flying by quickly, and I hope you have all been enjoying yourselves. This will be a short post this week, but I did want to touch base with you about a couple of things.

Staffing Update

I am still conducting interviews for the PreSchool position. The job was offered to a candidate recently who decided to take another position. I do have a few more interviews, and I'm hopeful to be sharing good news with you very soon. 

Covid Update

I know this summer, many of you have relaxed in wearing your masks and social distancing. My family and I have as well; however, it seems that with the Delta variant, cases have begun increasing again. With that being said, I am working with the Archdiocese and the Chester County Department of Health to determine how we will approach this school year. As of now, masks are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED  while indoors. Families will have the choice of having their students wear masks or not. Even though this is a recommendation right now, this could change at any time. My goal in all of this is to keep our students, families, and staff as safe and healthy as possible. As soon as I have more specific information to share with you, I will do so.
