Dear HFS Families,

What a glorious Friday after the torrential rains from yesterday! Seeing the sun shining certainly does wonders for the soul. 

Principal’s Spotlight

This week, I would like to shine a light on Mrs. Mary Mizii. Each year, Mrs. Mizii directs her 5th Grade students in a beautiful and reverent portrayal of the Living Stations. The time, effort, and love that she pours into this production is nothing short of amazing. Mrs. Mizii is a true model for all of our children to emulate, and I am thankful to call her one of ours.

I would also like to shine a light on the 5th Grade students. I can’t even begin to describe how proud I am of them. The effort and dedication that our boys and girls put into this presentation every year is breathtaking. 

Hot Lunch Reminder

There was a slight mix up with lunches for Monday, 4/11 and Tuesday, 4/12. Burgers will be served on Monday, and pizza lunchables will be served on Tuesday. Please remind your child(ren).

Boosterthon

Attached is the Boosterthon information that was sent out last week. Registration is now open. Click here to get started!

We’re looking forward to a fun experience for all. Keep an eye on your emails for more information and incentives for the students.

Continuous Enrollment

Registration is open for the 2022-2023 school year. If you have not signed up for Continuous Enrollment yet, please do so. This will guarantee that your child(ren) has a spot reserved for them from now through their 8th Grade year. This process allows you to skip the registration process for the remainder of your child(ren)’s time here at HFS, and it helps us to plan staffing for the upcoming school year.

If you are experiencing any difficulties in completing the form, please let us know. We are happy to walk you through it. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Advancement Director, Mrs. McNerney or the principal, Mrs. D’Amelio.

April Lunch Volunteer Sign Up

We are still looking for volunteers to help out during lunch recess. Next week looks like it’s going to be a bit more seasonable, so why not get some fresh air with your child(ren) and their friends? They might even be happy to see you! Click here to see what’s available.
