Principal's Post April 28, 2022

Dear HFS Families,

What a whirlwind this week has been! On Wednesday, we held our first ever Boosterthon Fun Run, and it was incredible! Pledges are still coming in and will be accepted over the course of next week, but the totals are looking really good for our inaugural run. We will share final totals next week after any remaining/late pledges are received.

Today was our first Drama Club production since 2019, and the cast and crew of Seussical, Jr. did not disappoint! They have been working so hard preparing for the show, and I was blown away by the talent of our students. They make me so proud.

Principal’s Spotlight

This week, I would like to shine the light on the cast and crew of Seussical. We are blessed to have students with such talent in our midst. As I watched them this morning, their joy to be on the stage again (or for the first time for many) was evident. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to see it first hand.

I would also like to shine a light on Mr. Matt Cahill, Mrs. Kristin Abell, Ms. Shannon Jarvis, and Mrs. Miscioscia. I am amazed at the time and guidance that this crew gave to their cast and stage crew. Not only did they perform their regular duties and responsibilities as teachers, but they poured themselves into this production and provided such wonderful models for the students. I couldn’t be prouder to work with such an incredible group of people. “All good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no alteration or shadow caused by change” (James 1:17).

Continuous Enrollment
