Dear HFS Families,
Happy April! While not many pranks were played in the office, one cheeky first grader did manage to fool me and Mrs. McNerney with her brown E’s. Not the brownies I was expecting, Madelyn B! Despite the lack of a yummy treat, Madelyn’s sassy giggle as she left the office made it all worthwhile.
Principal’s Spotlight
This week, I would like to shine a light on Mrs. Tricia Garcia. Mrs. Garcia was our PreSchool teacher this year. Due to circumstances beyond her control, she had to leave us today. Working with her has been an absolute pleasure, and she was a blessing to our youngest HFS students. It was such a treat to have both her and the children in the main building this year, and the love and warmth was always apparent in that room. “Train the young in the way they should go; even when old, they will not swerve from it” (Proverbs 22:6). We wish Mrs. Garcia all the best, and I hope our paths cross again someday.
Living Stations
Mrs. Mizii and the 5th Grade have been very busy preparing for the Living Stations. If you are able to attend, please try to do so. It is a beautiful and moving presentation of Jesus’ ultimate gift to us. Please join us in this annual tradition at St. Ann’s Church at 1:15PM or 7:00PM.
Continuous Enrollment
Registration is open for the 2022-2023 school year. If you have not signed up for Continuous Enrollment yet, please do so. This will guarantee that your child(ren) has a spot reserved for them from now through their 8th Grade year. This process allows you to skip the registration process for the remainder of your child(ren)’s time here at HFS, and it helps us to plan staffing for the upcoming school year.
If you are experiencing any difficulties in completing the form, please let us know. We are happy to walk you through it. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Advancement Director, Mrs. McNerney or the principal, Mrs. D’Amelio.

As always, a great big thank you to those of who have given your time thus far. It is appreciated more than you know!
