Dear HFS Families,
Even though this week has been fairly quiet, it has the feel of having been a busy week. We celebrated our teachers this week and all the amazing things they have done this year and continue to do. Many thanks to our Home and School for treating us to a daily raffle with a variety of gift cards from which to choose, lunch, cupcakes, and tokens of appreciation. I also would like to extend a big thank you to our teachers.
Principal’s Spotlight
This week, I am shining the light on all of our teachers and aides. It is because of them that our students are learning, growing, and thriving each and every day. They work hard to plan interesting, engaging, and challenging lessons for our students, and it shows. I am amazed at what I see as I visit classrooms, and I am proud to call these men and women my colleagues. I can never thank them enough!
In addition, our teachers and our students made me feel like a queen today! I came in this morning to an office filled with balloons, flowers, treats, cards, and posters/pictures. The 8th Grade even created a Slides Show for me with letters of thanks. I could never truly express my love and gratitude for them all, but I hope they know just how much I appreciate them and love working with them all. “Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18).
Thank You...
Again, many thanks to our Home and School for a multitude of reasons. It takes a village, and we have a great one!
