We are wrapping up our second week of Flexible Learning/Cyber Instruction Days, and I continue to be impressed by our teachers and families. Since I joined the family last year, I saw a strong bond amongst the staff, students, and their families. If anything, I have seen it become even stronger over the course of this year, and in particular these past 2 weeks. You continue to be a source of inspiration for me. I am eternally grateful to you all. “How good and pleasant it is when brothers [and sisters] dwell together as one” (Psalms 133:1).
I have received feedback from some of you regarding how things are going with the work being sent by and the instruction with the teachers. Please continue to let us know your thoughts. I know how incredibly difficult it is to work remotely, oversee your children’s instructional time, and find time to decompress. We are all in the same boat, and it’s important to us to try and maintain our sense of community as well as to create an efficient process for all involved.
Spotlight I would like to shine the spotlight on Mrs. Martino this week. She has been working tirelessly to keep us all connected through Facebook. I have been obsessively checking our Facebook page throughout the day to see who is sending in pictures, what will be the next Cartoon at Noon, and to see all that our teachers are doing. I have to say, Mr. Cahill’s video made me laugh, and my son loved seeing the Cahills’ dog running through the Primary Hall. Please continue to share your days with us. It brings me such joy to see your faces! Thank you, Mrs. Martino, for being instrumental in making that happen - from your encouraging everyone to share to your steadfast support of our community during this difficult time-you are a rock for us all!
Report Cards We are working on getting the students’ report cards ready to post. Our goal was to post them today, but we are still reviewing them. If they are not posted over the weekend, they will be posted by Monday, at the latest. Thank you for your patience.
I hope you all get to enjoy some sunshine today with your families. Have a wonderful weekend!
