HFS Cabaret Night - A Drama Club Fundraiser!

When?   Thursday, October 10th   7:00-9:00pm
Where?  Griffin Hall Gym (aka: The HFS BISTRO!)
Who?  ALL AGES are INVITED to COME OUT AND Enjoy the SHOW!!!!!!
Cost?   $7 Adults and $5 Students (General admission; sold in advance and at the door)

NOTE:  THIS is a BYO event (Bring Your Own SOFT Beverages and Appetizers/Noshes to enjoy in our Bistro environment!!!) 

Our Drama Club is headed into its 6th season at HFS, and continues to grow and grow!  All 5-8 grade HFS students are eligible to participate in the Drama Club.  Last season, a little over 35% of 5-8 grade students were in our Spring Musical!  We are immensely proud of our robust Drama program, and we SO appreciate ALL the support from our HFS community!  

As we grow, so do the expenses for our Spring Musicals. Our show last year, Willy Wonka Jr., cost $10,000 to produce. While this is a lot of money, we are VERY proud of the fact that this was (and always has been) a completely self-funded program. Through participation fees, concessions and ticket revenue, raffles and other fundraisers, we have been able to grow this program year over year, without creating any burden on the HFS budget!  

THIS YEAR, we are so excited to be having our inaugural "HFS Cabaret Night -- A Drama Club Fundraiser!"  

Our goals for this event are simple:

• Provide an additional live singing/performance opportunity for interested students & alumni
• Celebrate the growing success of the HFS Drama Club
• Build community and excitement around the Arts at HFS
• Raise much needed funds for our HFS Drama Club
