About Me

Hello. My name is Matt Chiappetta but you can refer to me as Mr. Chia. I am your students teacher in 3rd grade but you already know that part. Some facts that you may not know is that  I graduated from the Phoenixville High School back in 2014 and graduated from Penn State University in 2019. My degree in Pre -K - grade 4 early elementary.

 I have been competitively running since 2009 and have been coaching at the Phoenixville high school since 2014. In the fall, I coach the boys cross country team. In the winter and spring, I coach a variety of  events for their track and field program. I have completed 3 full marathons and have ran in 4 ultra marathons. 

When I am not teaching or coaching, I can be found playing for Ultimate Frisbee. I play for a club team that preforms at a high level as well as play in a league in Bethlehem. When the legs need a rest day, I can be found reading comics featuring my favorite DC characters or attempting to catch up on a variety of shows. I also hiked a number of high points in different states, interacted with a handful of celebrities as well as sent in an audition tape to American Ninja Warrior.
